  2. You're welcome! I found a few interesting things about this video. The Pediatrician recommended staying away from red dye 40. It seemed like just yesterday when most doctors, because of the lack of research, would discount what many parents were saying. Today, many Doctors are becoming more knowledgeable about red dye 40 and artificial dyes. Please, feel free to spread the word! I wish you and your family the best!

  3. Thank you for this post. My son has a lot of behaviors like You and I read on it as well. my son was diagnosed with adhd/autism/anxiety/behavior issue and much more. This may have some to do with his behavior. I might have to bring it up with his psychatrist and see what they say. Thanks again and is there a chance that he may have been misdiagnosed? Where can I get more information? Thanks again

  4. Hi and welcome to Red Dye Free. As a parent, you really have to be an advocate for your child. Some doctors recommend medications and give out diagnosis right away without knowing the complete child. Some doctors are unaware of the effects of artificial dyes and may discourage avoiding them, but these doctors are relying on the FDA's regulations for artificial colors which has very poor research to go on. All of the doctors I take my children to are aware of the behavioral changes from artificial dyes. If your child does have ADHD, I would stay away from artificial colors. Many children with ADHD, ADD, and other autistic spectrum disorders are more suseptible to being sensitive to these dyes and their behavior is (in my opinion) more severly affected by these dyes. You might want to follow the Feingold Diet - for sale on The Red Dye Free Store. Perhaps, like my son, he doesn't need the medications - which unfortunately, many medications have artificial colors in them! I wish you the best.

  5. My daughter (who just turned 5 yesterday ) watched this video with me. She said she knows just how they feel. She said "blue and purples and someimes yellows make me feel that way too, We had them at ___'s house.". I just wanna scream with frustration! Why is this the first time I've heard this straight from her!?
